Dedicated to Your Health
Personalized, modern care based on the latest scientific evidence.
about
I am Kyriakos Petropoulakos, an independent physiotherapist practising at the PhysiO2 Belfaux clinic.
Holding a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy, a Master's degree in Advanced Physiotherapy and currently a doctoral student, I put my clinical expertise, international experience and university training at the service of each patient.
My goal is to provide high-quality care, based on rigorous clinical assessment, an individualized approach, and the best available scientific evidence.
Therapeutic approaches
Orthopedic Manual Therapy – IFOMPT
A comprehensive approach incorporating the McKenzie, Maitland, and Mulligan concepts. Techniques are selected based on clinical assessment, functional limitations, and each patient's goals.
Sports Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation - ISSPT
I support amateur and professional athletes in the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries, with a personalized approach aimed at restoring functional abilities and promoting a safe return to sport.
Therapeutic exercise & functional rehabilitation
I support each patient with personalized exercises aimed at improving mobility, strength, balance and coordination, in order to restore functional abilities and promote a sustainable return to daily, professional or sporting activities.
Treatments, Complementary Techniques
I offer services tailored to each patient's needs, aiming to relieve pain, promote recovery, and sustainably improve comfort and mobility. Each treatment plan is personalized and based on a thorough assessment to select the most appropriate techniques for your situation and goals.
Therapeutic and classic massages
Therapeutic and traditional massages aim to relieve muscle tension, reduce pain, and promote recovery. Each session is tailored to your needs to improve your comfort, mobility, and overall well-being, as part of a personalized approach.
Manual lymphatic drainage
Manual lymphatic drainage is a gentle technique designed to stimulate lymphatic circulation, reduce swelling, and promote the elimination of accumulated fluids. It can be particularly beneficial for post-surgical recovery, relieving the feeling of heavy legs, and improving overall comfort.
Cold Compression Therapy – Game Ready
Game Ready compression cryotherapy combines controlled cold with intermittent compression to reduce pain, limit inflammation, and decrease swelling. It also promotes recovery after injury, surgery, or athletic exertion.
TECAR Therapy – Winback BACK4
A multi-frequency technology that allows for precise adaptation of the treatment to the tissues and therapeutic objectives. It can be combined with manual therapy and active rehabilitation.
A practice based on clinical reasoning and Evidence-Based Practice
Clinical reasoning is the guiding principle of my practice.
Each patient presents a different situation, abilities, and goals. After a thorough physiotherapy assessment, I select the most relevant interventions and adapt them progressively according to clinical progress.
My practice is based on the principles of Evidence-Based Practice, integrating the best available scientific data, clinical expertise, and the patient's needs, preferences, and goals.
My goal is to offer personalized, active physiotherapy based on current scientific data, aimed at sustainably improving the patient's function, autonomy and quality of life.
